Leaf Arrangement and Shape:
Opposite with simple, 5-lobed leaves
Fruit Type:
Double samara (winged fruit)
Maximum Height:
100 feet

Beautiful fall colors of yellow, orange, and/or red. Sugar Maple is used to make maple sugar and syrup. Native Americans used the inner bark in tea to help with cough and diarrhea.
