Pummill Hall was built in 1957 as a classroom building on the site where Music Cottage used to stand. Pummill Hall was named in honor of Dr. Lawrence E. Pummill, former head of the Department of Mathematics. Pummill Hall at one time was the Mathematics Department. Pummill Hall is located at 930 Carrington Avenue. More information on the building can be found on the SMSU building legend site.
