China, Japan, non-native to United States
Leaf Arrangement and Shape:
Opposite with simple, 3-lobed leaves
Fruit Type:
Double samara (winged fruit)
Maximum Height:
20 feet

The flowers are white and fragrant. Amur Maple was introduced from Asia around 1860. It can become an invasive species and it is recommended to plant native Red Maple instead.
